Talk.

I came across a tweet the other day that was a gentle reminder to use the time you have (however much that may be) to communicate with those around you.

Communication is key, and you never know what doors each key may open.

This is going to be a shorter post today, but I think this is a reminder we all should have.

Don’t waste time by sitting back and not communicating.

We do only live once, so while we’re here, make sure you do some of these things:

  • If you have a question, ask it. Don’t sit back and seek for answers without guidance from those who either have the answers or can help you find them.
  • If you don’t approve of something, speak up about it. If it bothers you, there’s a reason. Make sure people know why, or else it will keep happening.
  • If you like something, share it with those around you. You never know who might like something that you do, plus we should want all of us to enjoy our experiences in life. Plus, that could be an opportunity to do something fun with friends and family!
  • If you love someone, tell them you love them. It’s so easy to pass this over, as our love is often felt as “implied” through our actions. It’s so ever important, especially for me, to hear kind words and to hear that someone is proud of me, that someone cares about me, that someone loves me. Words can go a long way, and a gentle reminder of care is always wonderful to give to those around you.

I discuss how important communication is quite often, whether that be with friends, family, or even yourself.

I just wanted to give myself, and you, a reminder to communicate anything you feel you need to.

Don’t leave a door unopened when you have the key to unlock it.
