One step at a time.

As I reflect on the past month, it was busy and full of unfortunate surprises.

Now that I’m on the back half of these things, I am thankful for the learning and life lessons I gained.

Fortunately, I didn’t receive any “life setbacks” from anything, but there was a lot of time taken away and annoyances added.

As I think about how I maneuvered my way through these challenges, I constantly reminded myself to take one step at a time.

I know how bad I am at trying to do two things at once – multitasking is difficult and isn’t really a way your brain is supposed to function.

When we think about all of the things we have to get done in our lives, we often get stressed at all of the things “we have to do all at once”.

I’ve learned that I NEVER do it all at the same time. I know better for myself.

I take it one step at a time.

It still feels like a lot at times to plan it all out and see what’s coming – but it’s always easier when you see it’s coming one at a time instead of a crowd.

It’s a pretty simple concept – plan out your steps and take it one at a time.

However, I know many things are easier said than done – it’s easy for me to get distracted and want to jump into one thing while doing another.

Life requires patience. I’ve had to learn to limit myself to one at a time.

Don’t overload yourself – it will all get done in time and you will do well.

One step at a time.
