24.

As I often talk about planning, I am looking at each hour of the day to see what I can accomplish.

The goal: Trying to segment my time into reasonable increments to help achieve what I’m trying to achieve for the day.

Of course, not every hour is full.

We need to schedule our breaks and rest in life just as much as we schedule our work.

So once I gaze into my calendar and take that into account, I try to look at each hour as not an increment of time, but a block of opportunity.

We have 24 great chances in a day to make it happen.

Even those blocks of opportunity where we are sleeping, we can find a way to be better.

Better sleep = Better performance.

Anyways, it took me a long time in life to begin viewing time as an opportunity rather than a curse.

We often look at how much time we don’t have, how quickly it flies, etc.

In reality, we have as much time as we want… it just depends on what you do with it.

Whether we are looking at hours, minutes, seconds, days, years, we have all the opportunity in the world.

We can use these units to make a difference – and that’s truly the gift of time: A way for us to structure our opportunities as we make our way through life.

I encourage you to look at your day and the opportunities you have!

One day = Plentiful Opportunities.

Let’s take advantage of those opportunities and be friends with the clock.
