Slow it down.

Life moves fast.

Every day, we find moments where we are in a sprint in order to keep up with life.

However, we also have moments in a day that we can take a breath – analyze – slow it all down.

Those moments are just as important as when we have to keep up.

If we don’t take a breath in those moments which we can, we miss out on an opportunity to help our body and mind out.

We put a lot of stress on our body and mind in a day.

We ask a lot of ourselves in order to get done what needs to get done.

So, when the ask is asked, an answer needs to be present.

My answer is that each morning, I start my day by writing down a brief “to-do list”.

Those tasks aren’t every single thing I will do in the day, but they are things I’d like to get done.

I know when I have to do them and that I will be busy amidst these moments.

However, that planning also gives me insight to see when I can take a breath.

It’s just as important to plan your breaths as it is your work.

So when we have a chance today, just inhale, exhale, and soak in the moment.

I know that today I will do this and I hope you will, too.
